The workplace is too often dangerous to our health. Every year, deaths, injuries and chronic diseases take their toll. The Health and Safety Committee is focused on prevention and on maintaining the highest degree of physical and mental health.

Our mandate
The objectives of the PSAC North Regional Health & Safety Committees are to identify, promote and assist union actions around workplace health and safety by:

Educating, politicizing and mobilizing Health and Safety activists by making links between themselves, theunion, the workplace, andWorkers’ Safety and Compensation Boards
