PSAC North Regional Council

Pride Committee

Our Pride Committee is organized and thriving. Here’s some of what we will be doing … and some of what we’ve already done.

  • Supporting our allies
  • Organizing our own Pride Committee events
  • Making recommendations on LGBTQ2+ issues, policies, strategies and initiatives
  • Identifying discriminatory legislation, provisions or practices and recommending actions that will end them.

Join our team!

Calling all PSAC North LGBTQ2+ members in the North. If you want to fight homophobia and work towards positive change, we’re your committee.

You don’t have to be in Whitehorse, Yellowknife, or Iqaluit to join our ranks. Our conference call meetings can easily accommodate you – no matter where you live.

Add your voice to the events and initiatives that we organize … and meet great people too!

We're working to find solutions

We participate in conferences, education and training programs on issues that affect LGBTQ2+ members.

We are relied upon for representation of LGBTQ2+ members, their issues and equality goals in the various union bodies, programs and social justice groups.

We sit on the National Human Rights Committee and other PSAC National and Regional bodies … and much more.
