Young Workers Committee
Our Young Workers Committee is organized and thriving. Here’s some of what we will be doing … and some of what we’ve already done.
-
Supporting our allies
-
Organizing events that highlight the impacts on youth employment
-
Making recommendations to our regional and national union on issues, policies, strategies and initiatives
-
Identifying discriminatory legislation, provisions or practices and recommending actions that will end them
Join our dedicated team
Calling all PSAC North members who are under 35 and who want to see change happen. If you want to play an active role in your union and community, please join us.
You don’t have to be in Whitehorse, Yellowknife or Iqaluit to join our ranks. Our conference call meetings can easily accommodate you – no matter where you live.
Add your voice to the events and initiatives that we organize … and meet great people too!
We participate in conferences, education and training programs on issues that affect youth members.
Be a part of the change
We are relied upon for representation of youth members, their issues and equality goals in the various union bodies, programs and social justice groups.
We sit on the National Human Rights Committee and other PSAC National and Regional bodies … and much more.
Join our committee and pursue your area of interest. There is room for everyone who wants to make a difference.
We can’t wait to work with you to create a more welcoming, open-minded and accepting world.
