PSAC North NWT Regional Indigenous Peoples Committee and Women's Committee partnered to sponsor the Sisters in Spirit luncheon on October 11.The luncheon was organized by the Native’s Women’s Association of the Northwest Territories.

Northwest Territories Regional Indigenous Peoples’ Committee donated $1000 to the North Slave Métis Alliance for June 21st Fish Fry at Somba K’e Civic Plaza. PSAC North and the committee looks forward to the celebrations. Wherever you are, find out where the day is being celebrated, participate and volunteer. 

  NWT Indigenous Peoples Committee invites you to its annual general meeting on Thursday, December 13, 2018 - 5:30 PM.  The meeting will take place atat the PSAC Boardroom, North Star Building, Yellowknife.  We invite and encourage indigenous members, from all communities to join. If you’re not in Yellowknife, you can join us via our teleconference line.  For more information and agenda itmes, please view the attached poster below. 

There will be a PSAC North NWT Regional Aboriginal Peoples Committee meeting on Monday, March 12. The meeting will take take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the PSAC Yellowknife Regional Office.  Please see our poster for more details. 

PSAC North asks citizens to wear an orange shirt on Saturday, September 30 to commemorate the Every Child Matters campaign. The day recognizes all of those who experienced the trauma of residential schools and recommits our support for national reconciliation with indigenous peoples.
