The Public Service Alliance of Canada will be holding an electronic vote for members of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to ratify the tentative agreement between PSAC and CFIA.

The voting period will be from January 15 to February 15, 2018.

On the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, PSAC recommits to ending gender-based violence in all forms.

Domestic violence impacts work life. In Canada, over a third of people have experienced violence at the hands of an intimate partner or ex-partner. The trauma and stress that victims experience frequently affects a worker’s ability to do their job.

The National Aboriginal Peoples Circle came together for their annual meeting to discuss some of the issues that are at the forefront of the struggle for Indigenous Rights.

This included the next steps for the Public Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, the drinking water crisis in First Nation communities and MP Romeo Saganash’s private members' bill that calls on the federal government to harmonize Canada’s laws with the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
