Regional Executive Vice President 's Letter 

 

Our majestic northern spring arrived with it's long days, promising a summer filled with energizing vibes. Let's enjoy our beautiful sunshine and nature while maintaining physical distancing. 

We’re all going through stressful times, but I believe, that together, we can overcome the crisis. On behalf of PSAC North, I want to extend my solidarity and support to you, your families and communities. Our union is stronger when we’re united.
 
I’m grateful to our members on the frontline of this pandemic who are in a battle to keep us safe and healthy. I’m grateful to our members who are tirelessly performing critical and essential work under these circumstances whether at worksites or from home.
 
Throughout the North, our team, is monitoring the situation and is here to support you. Your health and safety at work and outside work is our priority. Please continue to follow the guidance and the directives of the national and local health authorities.
 
Our regional and national teams have developed online resources and if you need assistance, you can always contact us. We are committed to doing all we can to support our members and their communities.

Convention 2020

As the number of reported cases of the coronavirus rise in Canada, it is important that PSAC take precautions and act proactively to safeguard the health and safety of our members, staff, and the Canadian public. In keeping with recommendations from both local and national health authorities, PSAC has made the difficult decision to postpone all seven Regional Conventions. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and make efforts to reschedule at a future date. Please stay tuned.
