The Nunavut Regional Women’s Committee provided material to sew laundry bags for the healthcare workers at Qikiqtani General Hospital here in Iqaluit. This is so that at the end of their shift they can toss their scrubs into the bag and then toss into the washer without touching them again.
There will be around 100 bags completed and delivered by early next week.
