Your bargaining team met with the Employer in Yellowknife over the past several days in an attempt resolve all of the outstanding matters at the table.
The parties have agreed on a few outstanding issues, but were unable to conclude a tentative agreement during this round. We have dates to resume in Yellowknife for the week of January 30 – February 3rd and are optimistic that matters can be resolved at that time.
Our goal remains to achieve a positive outcome and an improved collective agreement for bargaining unit members at Ekati. Please watch for future announcements. Your solidarity and support of your Bargaining Team is greatly appreciated.
