Health and Safety Activism-- Yellowknife

In this course, participants will examine why Health & Safety is a Union issue. Members will learn about union perspectives on Health & Safety, the Internal Responsibility System and increase their knowledge on the rights and responsibilities of workers. This course is open only to residents of Yellowknife, who work under the jurisdiction of the Northwest Territories, and it will refer to Health & Safety legislation in the NWT. If possible, please bring a laptop/tablet to the course, to assist you in the learning process.

When: October 5 & 6, 2019 (Saturday/Sunday)
