What Affects Feminism Affects Us All: Northern Women’s Conference Women from across the North banded together to empower women to take action in their own communities. Former Parliamentary Budget Officer Kevin Page insists the closure of Veterans Affairs offices and libraries are only the first steps in a sweeping campaign by the Conservatives to reduce services and balance the books by 2015. Looks like the Liberal senator has become extinct.  After the NDP has been rallying for years to make the Senate non-partisan, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau finally pulled the trigger Wednesday.   With Trudeau ejecting all 32 of his senators from caucus, how will this change the atmosphere in the upper chamber?    Is it a breath of fresh air, the sign of a new era? OR just more political jockeying.  And how will Stephen Harper react after getting called out to do the same?
