Indigenous Peoples Committee in Nunavut

  The PSAC North Access Committees is pleased to invite all members in Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut to join them at their upcoming pan-territorial meeting on Monday, February 22 at 5:30 PM MST (7:30 EST).  This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. All union members in Nunavut are invited and encouraged to attend PSAC Nunavut Regional Council/Committees AGMs. Meetings will be held via teleconference and are in Eastern Time. During these AGMs, participating members will vote for Chair, Secretary and Treasurer positions.   PSAC North Nunavut Regional Indigenous Peoples Committee would like to invite all PSAC indigenous members to join them at their next Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 at 7:00 PM E.S.T at the PSAC Iqaluit Regional Office (Building 505-B Astro Hill Centre Boardroom Suite # 118) enter 118 on the dial in keypad located in the 8 Storey entrance.

PSAC North Nunavut Indigenous Committee is pleased to invite you to its annual general meeting on December 5, 6:30 PM (ET).  The meeting will take place at PSAC North regional office in Iqaluit: Building #1412, Sikituuq Court.  If you’re not in Iqaluit, you can join us via our teleconference line. 

  PSAC North is pleased to invite to Nunavut's Area Council and regional committees meeting on December 3, 4, 5 and 6.

PSAC North asks citizens to wear an orange shirt on Saturday, September 30 to commemorate the Every Child Matters campaign. The day recognizes all of those who experienced the trauma of residential schools and recommits our support for national reconciliation with indigenous peoples. Jack Bourassa Regional Executive Vice President, PSAC North By now many labour organizations across the country have spoken out in condemnation of the acts that we all witnessed in Charlottesville, Virginia on Aug. 12. Given the tight-knit and diverse nature of our own community, I feel as REVP at PSAC North that we must not only denounce in the strongest terms what occurred, but moving forward, tackle the lingering impact of that weekend.
