PSAC North Nunavut Racially Visible Committee is pleased to invite you to its annual general meeting on December 6, 6:30 PM (ET).  The meeting will take place at PSAC North regional office in Iqaluit: Building #1412, Sikituuq Court.  If you’re not in Iqaluit, you can join us via our teleconference line. 

There will be a PSAC North NWT Regional Racially Visible Committee Meeting on Thursday, October 11 at the PSAC Boardroom, North Star Building, Yellowknife.  The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. (MDT). 

There will be a PSAC North NWT Racially Visible Committee Meeting in Yellowknife on Monday, June 18. The meeting will take place in the PSAC Boardroom at #201A North Star Building, 4910 53rd Street, Yellowknife. 

There will be a PSAC North NWT Regional Racially Visble Committee Meeting on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event will be held by Teleconference.

Jack Bourassa Regional Executive Vice President, PSAC North By now many labour organizations across the country have spoken out in condemnation of the acts that we all witnessed in Charlottesville, Virginia on Aug. 12. Given the tight-knit and diverse nature of our own community, I feel as REVP at PSAC North that we must not only denounce in the strongest terms what occurred, but moving forward, tackle the lingering impact of that weekend.

PSAC North, in collaboration with the NWT Chapter of the Council of Canadians, is organizing a teach-in* offered by Brenda Sayers on October 13th, 5:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for labour leaders and activists to learn about the impacts of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) on labour and public services. Please see attached poster announcing the event, and feel free to share it with colleagues and friends interested in labour rights and social justice.
